I bought it last night, and played for a bit (just got to chapter 2).
I don't understand what the fuss is about? The game is awesome! It's fun, looks amazing, great story telling, awesome world.
If the remaining game is half as good as the first chapter, then I'll be happy
That's been the other argument, of recent years though... the rights of youtubers who do 'let's play' videos. I personally have no issues with youtubers streaming a game, because viewers SHOULDN'T feel satisfied with just watching a play through. If someone watching the game, gets the same experience as owning the game, then the game has failed to understand the way interaction should work.
Personally, I still want to pick up this game, but I'm waiting until it's cheaper. I think there is a large part of the gaming community, that feels the same. When the game reaches $35, they'll see an insurgence of sales... that is, unless it takes a long time to reach that price. Then players will just flat out forget about it.
