I was thinking of going discworld on it and have it being held up by a whale.
Now there's an idea. Maybe you could drop the background and have it set at sea on the back of the whale. You could also add a spin to it as a "lord of the flies" kind of tale.
haven't looked around to see if anyone else has asked or answered this but sketchfab doesn't support vertex colour/alpha.
I can't see vertex color on my .obj file
The specification of the .obj file format does not support vertex color, meaning your 3d software can't export with vertex color or if it does it's a hack.
nice, I'm gonna keep an eye on this one!
and yeah, great idear for the light and shadows!
though the shadow around that hedge doesn't look quite right yet,
a bit smaller maybe?
the light off the lamp on the other hand looks very good!
I'm thinking those bushes look better than they did in the game Also, this is awesome. I loved Dishonored and the idea of having a whale hold up your diorama is just sweet. Just make sure the whale has tentacles. That's important.
You can use gradient, I have just tried to do it now. It doesn't work particularly well but it does work. Don't know if its allowed for the competition though. Also I haven't been able to find the UV channel option in the material even though its in the all there tutorial videos Did they remove the feature or is it for pro only?
I think he means on the teeth, the gaps are filled with red when it would be effective to have transparency between. Looking great! Love the puddle process above.
oh I was talking about the bit after the teeth comment. I will fix the teeth though. I was going to post it and see if anyone noticed. Might save myself an alpha :P

ps how did you make the shadow\glow effects? It's a plane with a texture with alpha?
128x128 x 2
Still need to make it tile
Does anyone know if you can vertex blend textures or alpha in sketchfab?

Also I made the shadow on the shrub smaller.

And sketchfab already have a guide on how to use multiple UV's

you can. But like I said I haven't tested the pipeline. I'm just trusting the documentation.
Glad you like it.
Really liking the textures so far though, especially the pavement!
Only white! From what I've read.
Thanks or this though.
