Has been like that here as well, when it's not the credit card doesn't get accepted -.-
Despite having enough money and all that, so either steam or my bank messed it up.
I've been trying to buy something for about 3 hours and steam keeps refusing to accept my money. I'm starting to get angry, though I won't go to sleep until I buy that freakin' game! :poly118:
Round 1: I bought Super House of the Dead Ninja and Fortune Summoners! I decided to not be a game player. And just a game collector. I wish to just look at all my installed games and grin at my loot, and then laugh at you peons for not having as much as me.
Trouble is when you own close to 400 games, there's not that much that appeals in these sales.
This^ I don't have half that many but I've still got stuff from the original summer sale I haven't gotten to yet
re the Dishonored Flash Sale and such, from what I remember from previous sales the Flash titles show up several times, and most of 'em end up as one of the daily titles as well.
I already bought all what i wanted in green man gaming, i expect a nice origin sale
For all those uninformed, you can sell cards on the market and earn as much money as to buy some new games. I earnt more than 30€ already lol, it's incredible to see people paying a lot for a foil card.
All I need is Dishonored and I am hoping that the new Civilization V Expansion goes on sale... unlikely but one can wish.
Does anyone have Don't Starve? If so is it a good buy at 40%? or will it possibly get marked down later on?
Don't starve is a great great great game. It even managed to teach my non gamer girlfriend how I can sit and play all night. Quite a feat and she still plays it.
Me - "Come to bed!"
Her - "Just a bit more..."
hours passed.
It's neat, nice graphics and music. Hard as hell tho.
I know Silo is pretty much dead and hasn't had an update in years, but for £15 I might pick it up. If I ever return to freelancing it's a bargain to have in my arsenal.

I'm tempted, but is there much point other than being able to check the grass on the other side? Is there anything is does that's different to the rest?
I'm currently using Modo 601....still tempted though. The interface does look nice and clean. If I'm ever tempted I compare it to how much a round of drinks would cost, then conversely, how big a penny mix up I could get instead.
If you bought Modo I don't think there's much point. But if I go freelancing it beats dropping 3k on Max. Unless I need to do animation or rendering, then I will need Max.
I have failed.... even though I'm broke (as usual when this goes on), I fell victim to buying The Walking Dead, with the last few remaining bucks I have. I've been waiting for this to go on sale with my PS3, but at this price, I get it for the PC. (perfect example of why Steam is better/different than console stores)
Crappy Steam I tried to get Bioshock Infinity but for some reason it fail the purchase, even though the bank shows the money in movement (or maybe just in hold, wont know until 5 days later). So now I don't want to add more games to my list before I know what happens...
Super House of the Dead Ninja is TONS of fun. I recommend anyone who will sometimes need 5-10 minutes to kill at work in between lunches or what not. Fast and fun and simple.
I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything in an attempt to get more work done, but there's just too many tempting deals. I literally caved within two minutes of visiting the store.
Hell, I don't even know if I've got enough space to install even one of the games I just bought (Just Cause 2, GTA IV and Far Cry 2 for $10), but at least they're "in the bank." Along with about 20 other games I've yet to find time to play.
I have a love/hate relationship with Steam sometimes...
Edit:
Faster than light is a fantastic game! really recommend to pick it up at this price.
Agreed - but man, it's fucking brutally hard. I've only played about three hours, but have still yet to make it past the fourth sector. Awesomely fun, though.
If they don't put dishonored on sale today... I'm going to uninstall steam
(then install it again later when it does go on sale)
I think they already put that Far Cry 3 deal back on the Community's choice voting, so it's probably only a matter of time before they put Dishonored back on it... but if that happens it better get voted for this time! :poly127:

yeah whats going on! nothing Ive voted for has been a community choice yet :P
Gonna jump in here and say anyone who hasn't given the new Tomb Raider a shot, it's an incredible deal at its current price point. I haven't given a crap about Tomb Raider as a series...pretty much ever, but saw it for $12.49 and figured what the heck.
I now feel guilty about paying so little for such a solid game.

Only have a 50+ game badge too and I try to prioritize my "wants" for the ones that have opportunity for user creations
I know right?!
Subject to availability? What?

Also grr at the pricing differences between US and AU. Bloody publishers.

EDIT: Ooo Dark Souls for a fiver :O
Anyone have any recommendations for software?
Also, Receiver is now 40% off (£2.30) and Antichamber is 66% off (£5). I probably wont get round to playing them until the next Summer Sale mind.
went through them: Substance Designer. No-brainer buy at that price.

Same here, damn that game is hard!
Hopefully they will solve that.
