I think it looks nice as it is .maybe watch out not to look like the loggo for punnisher .
About the theme:) , there could never be too many skull masks .
i'm not oposed to it being a skull - more just being a blue bandanna with a white skull. looking at it again it's not TOO close, but still...a little more thought couldn't hurt to separate it from others. i love the skullcap with the continuation of the design on it.
Maybe if the blue of the bandana was made a bit lighter it won't be any problem, like the braces on the arm. The item is not just the bandana so I wont expect it to become a problem.
Did some test bakes for the pudge hook, this is the best result so far. What do u guys think? The texture is still very wip.

Looks great, but I think you should mess with the color slightly. Right now, I feel like it kind of blends in too much with Slark's body color. You can sort of see what I mean in the loadout pic in the bottom corner. Give it a slightly different hue so it'll stand out and read better.
also the baby blue and pinkish color really just don't make it look like a weapon at all, the shapes are cool i think its more or less the color, which soften it
i think a large part of the problem is that the shapes are flowing toward the front and pinching at her forehead - which makes it look like it's her hair line. Generally a bandanna will flow horizontally across the front and only pinch in at the back (the ref you just posted is a good example of that)
A new item again this one was pretty fast because the detail would get lost anyway and the poly limit is pretty low. It's a concept for an old set I wanted to do for Razor, but I didn't liked most items except the arm concept I made.
I think the pudge hook will be my last item for this contest so still need to finish that one..
The original balances the size of his head or is balanced with the size of his head. All of your concepts are on the small size, so some scaling could help. IMO.
In this case its pure work in progress, i placed it outside to maintain order and rearrange stuff. I sometimes do it for baking but only if i get artifacts. Its all cleared up and put on one another for mirroring textures.

I feel like the fire is covering to mouch of the sword atm . thinking of rotate/scale it
is that some leather wrapped around the handle or is this carved out stone? because it looks like carved stone, i don't think it's a very good habit to sculpt these things out, it just never looks right. From the game perspective of course it doesn't matter too much, still i think any assets deserves some quality and material seperation is one of the qualities i look for in items. It takes probably half a minute to do a proper wrap around a handle, take that time, the asset will look better
well, yeah one day its supposed to be leather straps ^^ I usually do more than one sculpt so its just the start. I take a break and look at it afterwards if i dont like it I start again, which happens quite often to be honest. ^^ I will post the next sculpt here aswell

Early version of a chaos helmet,, buuuut everyone I have talked to hates the horns so I will probably make a new set, not so straight. Like a friend told med "the horns looks like they are maybe by someone that have not still find the perspective camera in maya"... so yes.. :P

I am guessing that is the mirrored portion which he leaves outside until he finishes baking, in which after he returns them inside.
