I was hoping for some in-game stuff, but that was still pretty vaguely awesome. Not sure how much I'm being influenced just by the song choice though...

Please, bring back the classic RTCW multiplayer, with the different classes and objective based maps. Greatest MP I ever played, it deserves to make a comeback.

Rage didn't even run proper if you had a ATI card at launch.

Trailer looks good, although gives no info apart from maybe the location it takes place. Eagerly await more info.

Sorry yes that trailer is pre-rendered so that isn't idtech... but yeah they are most likely (def) using idtech since that is what Bethesda said a while back about why they acquired ID in the first place.

Plus it says they are using idtech 5 right on Bethesdas page

Wolfenstein is not "about" undead. It's about evil nazis who use technology and occult practices to be more evil.

Awesome - Wolfenstein is one of my favorite franchises. The 1960's alternate universe is compelling.

I'm not saying the tech behind it is bad... it was just not optimized at all! for pc nor for xbox... just yesterday i tried to play rage on xbox, lod blurred textures everywhere, some on characters, and they never popped to full res... tried running around to make them pop, and nothing... and in full view... finally the game decided to crash, and i know its not the xbox, cuz i could quit to the xbox menu... pos game really...

On pc... it's unplayable. I can run skyrim, max payne 3, mostly any game on ultra settings... Rage on even Low Settings is unplayable. It's just not cool. You have to have the right specs and hardware on your pc to play i guess. Just not impressed with it at run time... i like the tech behind it as a whole. Just a lot of optimizations are needed.

Funny how different experiences we´ve had. I could run Rage on max settings on a piece of shit 6 years old machine, with flawless framerate. I rate it as one of the best looking games of all time.

Don't want to put a downer on all your enthusiasm guys but this is weak and smells like Hollywood "forever part 6", I am dieting hard with a vengeance.

Why not create "New" up to date reality and quit the remakes ?

Boring the tits off me this stuff, trying so hard to do what ? recreate the magic of RTCW ? no chance. It smells like another Hollywood blockbuster remake and it's the norm these days and I guess people seem to love this mindless continuation of Xerox. Then again it has become a very difficult world for people to think for themselves, only if you buy an apple can you really "think" big.

I hope they add a one button targeting system so can I wipe out as many AI that I want, with the push of a button, preferably the "E" key as it's close to my middle finger.

However, a fun game is a fun game and if they nail the shooting and make it feel great, this game could work.

Repete: why post this here for Wolfenstein rather than other games? I don't count the RPG & Enemy Territory as sequels so this is just the 5th major installment of the game to come out in it's 21 year history. It's also a single player only game which most publishers see as a big risk.

wouldn't be the first reboot - RTCW retconned Wolf3D and Spear of Destiny.

Come on Justin, the point I am trying to make is clear: We have all this talent and boy what a history when it comes to gaming and yet we get bogged down with nostalgia. I think we all know what the elephant in the room is but to stop being recalcitrant is simply supporting cheese. Not on your nelly will I sit back and applaud this because it will be fun to play and I could say this about many releases.

Both sides of the coin need to put into perspective and voiced.
