Hey TV, unfortunately they're full up . I found a hostel for friday night when I arrive a few miles away, but saturday night I'm still homeless haha. Gonna wing it I guess, hopefully some hostels will have vacancies/cancellations as we get closer to next weekend. See you there!!
Bounch, we are waiting you man! =]
Matt from valve already told that you are going to join us

Woot woot! Hell yeah man. I'm arriving Friday around midnight, so all day for Sat and Sun. I found a place to stay Saturday night too, thank goodness. See you guys soon!
well.. you can apply the digital signature to a digital ingame item, so it shows it like real item, i guess its like the killcounter on some items (strange weapons in tf2) but instead of kill numbers it says signed by (insert inoffical valve employername here) ^^
thats what you think! but apparently noone has ever seen him in reallife nor heard his voice. I'll bet he is walking around there, somewhere . Appearing in the background of someguys photographs, like this:
Meh seems pretty pointless to me! I take an autograph as meaning someone has met the person. Buying an autograph to put on an item seems to serve no purpose whatsoever.
Valve has monetized this entire game with nothing but artificial indicators of status. Why does this thing here surprise anybody? If THIS didn't work, at least to some extent, none of us would be here at all.
what i want to know is if the people who's digital john hancock are being pimped get paid for said signature when purchased...
I'm so mad that I didn't try harder to get myself up there. oh well, there's always next year. Think of me, guys!

Same here. I'm glad to see that everyone is having such a great time and it's nice that you guys haven't forgotten about us little people!

You have to meet us to get the digital signature, we scan your badge. You don't have to buy anything, it's free. We are also giving out real signatures.

not negativ, its just not for me, i mean i know you're not getting payd for signatures but the community market is charging money for sigs, so well, yeah i guess you could say its part of the workshop game.
woohoo!! go go Polycount and Dota2 Contributors! Saw some interviews and such about whats going on with the artists at the International. Shout out to Anuxi as well, great interview!
I just thought I'd stop in here and say that the grand finals were the greatest series of not just dota, but any game, I've ever seen. I don't think it will ever be topped, and if it is it won't be for a long time, just wow.
This was fabulous. I met so many people at the workshop, got so many signatures ... One of the best parts of TI3. Thanks so much for chatting with me, it was seriously the experience of a lifetime!
TI3 was, allllllllllllllright, I guess. I think I had more memorable things happen outside of the event then during. Hanging out with Bounchfx was awesome, and the streets of downtown seattle really put you in very interesting one of a kind moment situations haha! That last game with Na'Vi and Alliance though, hot dayum! That was a blast! Holy hell!
Hey workshop people... I am the translator that came to you guys on the last day at TI3, accompanied by various Chinese players and personalities, inquiring about creating item sets.
I left contact info but it would seem that that fell through, as Steam lost the contact request from one guy, and no one ever added the Skype that I wrote down. :poly124: The Chinese players are seriously interested in getting item sets made, and I have no fewer than 8 or 9 different people that have requested so, and I'd bet more of them will be interested down the line as their preferred heroes get models broken down, etc.
Can those of you that I spoke with at TI3 get in touch with me? T_vidotto is confirmed to be making one set for a specific player so far, the rest I think can be up for grabs between you guys, because I talked to you all in person and I think there's plenty to go around... Preference given to creators who are personally big fans of certain players and understand their style, is what I am thinking. But we can chat and I can relay messages between players and creators.
Easiest way to get to me: @ me on Twitter.com/Dotaland, or find me on reddit, reddit.com/u/AutumnWindz.
Thank you. Anyone that sees this and can help spread the word to those that should know, please help as well, thanks in advance.
Fabulous hair during TI3, AutumnWindz. In case you want to connect any players/teams with item creators outside of the ones you talked to at the event, we have a thread set up for that.

Thanks, and thanks for the link! I guess my problem right now is that I don't even have the contact/nicknames of those creators that I did meet at TI3, apart from T_vidotto. So I'm posting here in the hopes that they see this and reach out to me. The final day when I did finally get the players to venture out and talk to the creators was a bit hectic so I just wrote down my contact info after relatively briefly discussing things with the creators that were present, and I guess it must've gotten misplaced in the shuffle.

Picture from the last day -- these two cool dudes were two of the ones I talked to. And Anuxi was there too, but not in this picture.
I'm still pretty new to the ways of working/collaborating with you lovely workshop creators, so any guidance is always welcome.
