Just changed all my account passwords to separate random generated ones with 50+ bits entropy, and stored them all in an encrypted KeePass library.
Now I feel secure and organized.
Had a good boardgame session at my place, playing Betrayal at House on the Hill, and even though we lost and got eaten by cannibals and blown up by a little girl, it was a good time.
Especially was hilarious when one of the players attacked with 6 dices and roll 1 with them, and then the traitor actually rolled 0 with four dices... the dice are flimsy at their luck.
Im not sure if it will make me happy but it wont hurt to know the truth..
When i am 25 and i just started learning 3ds max for animation, is it too late for me to get into bussines between profesionals?
I have only highschool without graduation, i will try finish do it next year tho..
So far i do not have much drawing skills or modeling, but i will start work hard from now on. But i have no idea how long it takes to become good when competition is so hard.
Is there a chance for me?
If you reply, try to be honest
being invited to my ex girlfriend's birthday party, by herself, discovering wheni arrive there thatshe has a boyfriend, knowing that her new boyfriend is jealous as fuckand wont be goingto the party if i go, then changing his mind later on,being at the same table as him and her, receiving attention from her and noticing the dude is being left forever alone, when theslow jam comes, being picked by the chick (dude, now that i think that was rude of her, i meean, wtf, picking your ex to dance a slow jam with you during your bday party instead of your current boyfriend?)
then later on when i get back home, the next day, receiving a message saying hey, i broke up with him. and now trying to decide wether to get back with her or not.. but feels good to know i still got my mojo
Did life drawing today, I still have so much to learn and the road is so long.
Listened to this on a loop during life drawing, hah. Sometimes I feel like I can't make good friends with other people, other artists. But I'll keep trying I guess. Here is something for the people who love a good beat and also anime. of course anime, hah https://gentlerecords.bandcamp.com/album/ep
I finally got around to playing around with the Unreal 4 infiltrator demo! OMG! its on a new level, I can not believe it runs so fast on my laptop! The next generation of artists are so lucky to be using this tech! man where do I start!!! So much to learn, so many new ways of setting up levels, materials, animation, cameras and so much more! dam its good, master class in optimisation.
My work mate made this, its 100% 3D printed, its so much fun. The nice thing about the process is that you can make adjustments to the fittings as its all printed in sections. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMt3nE_PyDk

I actually was thinking that it would be perfect for creating costumes like the ironman suit, and other stuff that might have a lot of details (sayyy, a fallout exosuit?), however I'm worried about the material, that it might be to fragile. Maybe use it to make the form for the final material?
This stuff is really strong, I will make a video later of me smacking it around and I will talk to the technician about the materials and printer and jot it down for you. You could 3d printer a Fallout suit, I would be more then happy to make it, would just need the material cost covered and constructed in a particular way which I can document down for you. Maybe start with the helmet and continue from there. For the ironman suit I made a 3d model of the lecturers head with 123d catch to get the scale correct and then the 3d model was built around that. It's a little tight for my head
I have just made a sculpture for a french artist out of a clear plastic. I will post it up later. It's great to see your creations made into a physical reality.
An animation test and two long interviews later: first day of work at a AAA studio today and first time working at a AAA studio. It went really well and the guys are very friendly! Having a celebratory beer now.
Closed beta of the first mobile game I've worked on. Also first game I worked on after five and a half years out of the industry. Game looks and plays great!
Well, not actually today but it was yesterday. I think it was one of the most relaxing days I've had in a long time. Had taken off from work since husband was out of town and so spent quality time with the kids. We had so much fun! Whipped up breakfast together in the morning (with the kids of course lending a helping hand aka creating a mess everywhere!), watched old re-runs of Scooby Dooby Doo cartoons, played these dragon games based on the kids' favorite dragon movie, then went swimming in the evening and had pizza for dinner. I remember thinking to myself before I turned in for the night - can things really get any better than they already are? I guess not. Thank you God for everything... I should really do something like this more often; it was like a breath of much-needed fresh air.
Didn't have much to do at work, so for once instead of staying and doing nothing, got a half day off, and just before I left, a package arrived: It was here, my "The art of Fallout 4", and damn its a big heavy bugger, didn't expect it to be that big, and I had a quick glimpse in it and its packed with awesome images! WOOT! Can't read it now, gotta do some work at home, and tonight there is red wine and cheese night on the program with housemates. So, good day.
Students made characters for all the Lecturer staff so we could play as ourselves after the last day of work before the Christmas break, and yes the students laughed at our rubbish combat skills.

The giant, gross zombie hand I worked on with Gorilla Constructions for a Walking Dead promo is up at the Sydney Opera House.
