It's an uphill battle, some days after work I don't feel like working on my personal art; but after forcing myself to sit down and work it gets easier and enjoyable.
Speaking of which, just a relaxing head sketch today
Samus weekend fun extravaganza!!!!
I've been on a Metroid nostalgia trip these past couple of days
I'm recording the whole process so that I can laugh at my mistakes hehehe......I gotta practice hands more often.....I hate hands....lol
concept by Ilya Kuvshinov
dude, that latest knight is really awesome. I'm not crazy about the pinup style in general, so I'm surprised when I see some of these looking so good. Your real anatomy study is very solid so I can see why you are so good at these. Best of all, I love seeing you crank out so much work. Keep it up!
[edit] Oh in that last sculpt she is fish eyed. (sorta looking outwards). You have probably been staring at it too long to notice.
Not to try to convince you to stop working on all of the beautiful ladies, but I think you've pretty much mastered the female form, but after looking at your portfolio, I noticed that you could actually use some more work on your male models. Firstly you don't have many on your site, and secondly the ones that are up there don't look nearly as good as the pinups. You should take a break from the ladies and spend some time on some other characters to broaden the appeal of your portfolio.

and to spiderDude these are awesome, i really loved the knight when i saw it on lunchcrunch, didn't know it was yours!
You should totally get some of them printed
@TorQue[MoD]- Yea, my portfolio is old and crappy(to me at least), working on a new one with new works to be added. My pinups won't be in my folio, they're just for fun. I have a lot to learn still about anatomy in general, Thank you for the compliment though
I will be doing a male sculpt, it's gonna be cool and fun I won't post it in this thread though, probably only in WAYWO.
Took some time off my fan art sculpts and been practicing anatomy more. Here is a quick study I did today.
I've been using the method from Grassetti's Gumroad tutorial. I like it a lot!
On a side note: I'm just gonna dump these doodles here because I don't want to make a new thread or whatever, most of these are unrelated to the theme of this thread:
I feel pretty happy with it so far, still a lot to adjust, but I'm happy with it because I always have the hardest time with hands...they're just so..weird lol.
So I wanted to sculpt this Succubus concept I found this weekend, but wanted to continue my anatomy sculpt at the same time. Well my anatomy study and the concept share the same pose already, so I fused the two projects together
Thanks you!
So I found out today the concept I'm basing this off of is an actual character from a trading card game(?) Shinra Banshou. I had no idea, lol, just found a drawing and thought it would be fun to sculpt.
somehow it looks a bit weird that the outer part of the wings are
thicker than her upper arms and get thinner the closer they are to the
body... they look super heavy
love the facial expression and pose
somehow her feet look a bit like sticks coming out of her hip
i would add a little more volume to the inner upper leg
y'know thigh gap n stuff
Recorded the sculpt and I'm testing out making the video 60fps. It's not recorded at 60fps, just converted, so there are some artifacting in the video.
Edit: Turns out you have to watch it on youtube to enable the 60fps option.
Created a skin pores brush that will let me sculpt the pores with a sense of direction. Pretty simple brush, but I'm happy with it and I want to share it for anyone to use
The only setup needed is to go to the Alpha menu and set H Tiles -> 2
The skins looking really good man loving it ya the teeth could use a SSS for the parts of the teeth that are kind of see through, and the gums look like a solid color right now addd some variaiton and I think it will blend in better. Other than that I absolutely love this dying to see it finished.
P.S. I love her breasts LOL, you sculpted them perfectly

Blair looks beautiful man. You need to do a 3d print of her!
bubbles coming out of her bumhole made me LOL. Take those somewhere else and post a ochiri angle :P
And hello from /r/anime, as well! I decided to lurk around here after awhile and noticed this looked familiar.
I like this idea of perverted cash, hopefully they'll copulate in my wallet and multiple, lol.

Skin Pores Directional Brush
And here is a WIP of my Succubus' face.
Very WIPy and textures are temporary. This weekend was to teach myself Vray's SSS material and such.
I have a question : Do you always reuse the same base model for start?
Also, how did you become this good?
I don't use base meshes anymore, I start everything from a sphere and dynamesh. Just a lot of practice and studying anatomy.
2 things that I need to currently work on:
1) The teeth doesn't look quite right yet. I'm missing that glossy look and some sss on the teeth itself.
2) Not satisfied with the crystal ball.
Now I just need to figure out how to fix those 2 points lol :poly142:
P.S. I love her breasts LOL, you sculpted them perfectly
