About the top of the Tower, yeah you've probably right, I added that because tje "piece" seemed to be not nishied when you turned around (not a problem on the concept, but when you look at the back in 3D, that was not very pretty )
I did this to contrast with the interior which is very "rounded", but well... maybe it's a bit to "simple" and sharp-shapped compares to the whole Diorama ^^'
I don't agree with the chain. I think on the cocnept it's too... "necklace-like", and I prefer something "stronger" to carry such a big chandelier (candelabra ? not sure of the english word for that )
@Broadway: Actually i did it for the concept (if you look the first 3D placeholder i made), and I think I'll make it again (but not so strong) at the end just to force the perspective as u said
nice! awesome stuff!
though i would push the lightning harder in the 3D so it's more like in your 2D,
and defenetly add some flying bricks on the upper part as well as by the floor in the cellar part, i liked that in your 2D!
i'm not feeling the water so good though, the rocks don't seem like they're in the water, i would suggest adding some details with flow lines where the water hits the rocks, is it clear what I'm saying?
next to that, the 3D looks 10x more awesome then the 2D, and that one already kicked ass!
love that you made a battlement at the top and the little mushrooms by the water is a nice addition aswell!
Great work!
Hahaha this is pretty awesome. It kinda reminds me of this toy my sister used to have that looked like clams and it opens to that kind of a diorama. Awesome work though I really love it.
Love this! Saw it a while ago and forgot to keep up with it. Wow, this is great so far! Maybe it's a little nitpicky but the stone surrounding your stained glass windows look flat compared to the rest of the scene. It may be just that its getting washed out? Looking forward to seeing the final polish things on here!
Thanks a lot, it's never too late ahah
Just saw your portfolio on google, and your cartoon Forest is really cool, I've pinned some days ago on my pinterest board
