Yeahhh!!! My first skin up in maya! They still works not good cause thei skinn only on one spine bone, but i just want to show you how it will looks in the engine. I made LOD(1), but many guys said that its impossible. Here are 500 tris over this limbs and 250 per one. There is no much changes and in game you will see no difference. In portrait there is simthing about 1250 tris over two limbs. Thats all. Tomorrow will finish its skinning. I want some time before the dead line spend over the shaders. I dont like venomancers default ones. Forgot to post small ingame pics. So it looks pretty good. At first i was worry about the edges, but then when i saw ingame size i took it easy.

Also tomorrow resculpt tentacles and make retopo and baiking. Also I have another question. I saw that people upload all the stuff into the engine but i dont know how to do this. Only preview i can made is in max using xoliul or marmoset or composing right from the engine. But second variant will be too low resolution image. Also i plan finish tentecles the day after tomorrow and continue with beauty shot and correcting textures and small issues, so it looks cool in the egine. Hate this rimlight
Some frown upon It but I just upscale the low to the limit, since that limit isn't that much higher usually than the lower in-game, your choice though.
Imean that at first engine askme aboug ingame geometry., called LOD1, ok, done, did it, but then i must import more detail one, ok did i too, but i saw no difference in the egine, i still see lod1, and no portrait anywhere, checked script dialog while import, but i saw nothing strange. Maybe i cant preview portrait in the engine?
2 hours in Zbrush. Tomorrow texturing. Very fast sculpt. As i understand before no need to create huge detail siloette. Over all i hope this one is much better. I dont like first one cause it fits to the body not good.
Cause of polycount and stylistic. If you look from the top view you understand that its noot as good as i planed. I simple correct the form and remove spikes. I have as an old version either a new one so if nuch people said the old one is better i will return it back.

If you load both LOD1 and LOD 0, then engine will display just the LOD0.
If you only want to see LOD 1 then don't load LOD 0 as well.
You should add some a more angular pattern at the tentacles' back, like in the tail. I don't think spikes are necessary, just take some other cues from the rest of the set.
pro-tip. put all the pieces of your setinside a collection, plus upload ingame screenshots, a lot of dota 2 crazy fans just don't vote if they don't see the item looks ok ingame
Looks sooo awesome, really nice job!! But u need to make it the main banner on your collection page for a better steam presentation. Go to "Edit Basic Collection Information" then hit save and continue at the bottom. On that next page you can upload this image on your collection page. In case you didn't know, kinda obscure if you haven't done it.

I would try to keep them unless you absolutely can't keep it under the poly limit.
