Hey there! I'm kinda newbie here on polycount, and thought i'd create an improving thread for a home project of mine and my friend

My intention here is trying to improve in creating hand painted texturing and drawing/ texturing in general. I cannot draw well, so be patient pls

JO420 thank you!! the brush settings i'm using now are pretty basic. 100% opacity and i use preasure to define opacity strength. sometimes if i need really transparent color, i change the opacity to 30-40% with same settings (but it's rare)
updates won't be too often coz there's a lot going on right now, but i won't abandon this project, so feel free to check back later

I think for your metal the scratches are a little too deep and wide, maybe thinning them out and emphasizing the highlights more will really help sell it as metal instead of stone.

Alemja - i have a lots of other projects going on that are more important than this, so i dunno when it's gonna happen but i'm planning to create a speedpaint video on that trinity axe if i can. btw you're right about the metal/stone/idunno what.. i'll try to improve it
