I'm looking for an artist with experience working with photogrammetry to develop and perfect the model of a single character that will be used for a 5 minute trailer type film. I want the level of realistic detail similar to that of Hellblade. I am happy to work with people with a variety of levels of experience and skills…
it lives up to the hype, as far as any hype i was really exposed to. though if you're talking Hype, like of the legendary quality that Romero was spewing during the development of Quake, no game can ever live up to that. sure there were some parts i didn't like so much, but HL2 had me at such a complete enthrallment that i…
Hi again. :) A small update. I've added a baked lowpoly for the tracks cover and two types of jerrycans in the back, but now I feel that I've hidden all the beauty beneath it. Maybe I'll try to make two variants of the model in the end, one with the tracks covered and one without the cover, hope the UV resolution will be…
Gametrailers' "Top Ten Game Creators" http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44356.html It's like Walt Disney. He animated all the classics. Yup, all by himself. :( Anyway, if we're just going by hype in that list I think John Madden deserves to be part of it.

very much agreed Hype/Marketing are the words. . 4.27 im good to keep. Now I understand, depends on projects/products you ship etc. 5 / 6 could be handy. when it comes to "hardcore" projects, I ll always pick UE4.
It sounds like you haven’t actually shipped a game yet, like you haven’t experienced the utter mess and difficult human think-on-your-feet creative work it takes to get a project across the finish line. AI will not and cannot replace that. It simply does not and by design cannot have the holistic vision to drive a team…
mojo: but the term normal map is actually descriptive to what a normal map does, and they have, in fact, made something of a difference about how a game looks. they might have been hyped up a lot, but it is at least a real technology. MEGATEXTURE on the other hand is totally awesome and totally unstoppable!
