Got the windows and doors painted, put a placeholder on the metal roof will add more detail later. Just need to get the signs done and the chimney, pipe and roof ledge and repaint the grass too. Then have a few more objects to add to the roof (weather vein, and speaker). I will add all the loose objects after I'm done with…
I feel this will be an excellent competition! Plenty of nice looking projects out there already, I especially enjoy the threads of Alex04se, WarrenM, Jellied Whales, Scampbell & Dawnson -- inspiring! I do not have much experience with environment art, but I still wish to make this one of the threads to watch. My Throne…
Hello! I'm thinking of a rather unconventional throne room, which would be ruled by a dragonslayer. I got the inspiration from Peter Jackson's art direction in The Hobbit; Thranduil's Halls in Mirkwood (found in my reference sheet). I adore the lack of large, flat, straight areas, the chaos and dynamism in the design. So I…
Ha, neat choices here fun looking little project. I hope it takes off well & its completed, rooting over here for ya. It is nice to see something i collected also once upon a time, if you want some pix for references (only if you can't find any) i got the comix still laying around here in a box in my closet, some cards…
yeah it seems untill theres at least a hint of proof that he cheated then he's inocent. and the 2 pics that posted are only similar in that they are "rooms" with "furniture" And yea i see this whole thing as more of a shitty teacher thing than a shitty student thing. if you dont have some kind of proof dont go on public…
i would add some sky or a void/hollow background, i would also change the light from the windows to be the same ( you can't possibly have orange light from the front and green from the side in such a small house, it is barely 2 rooms!) You also have a wood extending randomly to the inside of your house. If you dont have…
After replaying Life is Strange, and since the new game is coming soon, I decided I'd recreate an environment of one of my favorites games. One of my goals is to see what the game could've looked like if it was made on UE4 (limited by my own skills of course). Also it's my first UE4 project (apart from messing around with…
This is a freelance art installation project I've been working on for some time. The installation involves a large cylindrical structure with 6 screens on the outside. Viewers stand on the outside and wear polarized glasses so they see the images on the screens in 3D. The images below are projected in real time onto the…
Modular Sci-Fi Room that I made a couple of months ago for my end year project at HEAJ. I set myself the challenge of doing that from scratch in less than 20 days. So it's was a great experience to see what I can do on short deadline. No baking process, every normal map details were made in NDO (Only the bedsheet is…
The only crit I have is the roof moss seems a bit blotchy to me. I'd expect the moss to grow where the rain flows down and gets displaced along the roof, especially on a steep roof. Kind of like this. Here's a quick little paint over to see what I mean. It's up to you though, I like the environment you're making for it.
