Hey guys! I've been teaching myself Maya, zBrush and UDK over the last year (with some help from someone in the know, I know he's here somewhere, hello!) to hopefully try and get myself to a junior artist level. I've not had the guts to post any of my stuff here, but I think it's time to post a WIP thread. :) This is my…
Hello! Long-time lurker, first time poster here. I'm hoping to use this thread for advice and critique on this scene. This production has a deadline 12th January, so over the next 9 days I'll be updating this thread with developments. This image was created within 3dsmax, with some minor post work done in Ps. Hey all, Got a real problem with udk been working on a scene, however my computer crashed and something happened to the files. I get loads of missing objects and my package is completly empty anyone know how to recover it? Really worried i have to start again.
Hey all, Is there any way to effectively parameterize panners within UDK materials? The Time slot on the node only refers to starting point. Any sort of math operations that I've tried to the left of the node seems to effect only the texture coordinate data and not the movement speed data. Thanks.
So I'm very new to UDK and made a small castle level for a class, while I was making the lighting it look perfectly fine, but when I went in to make a preview build this happened: anyone know what's up with all those weird splotches of brightness and color? Thanks
I'm trying to use Keen's Batch Exporter, and it works great except it forgets the export path to my UDK content folder between sessions. It's a pain to re-point it, and also type in FBX again. Is there something better?
Hello, I enabled udk to be directx11 made a shader (seems to be ok), but nothing is happening corectly ... What is the problem ? Please take a look at that picture. My GPu is an ATI Radeon 5700 HD (Directx11 ready normaly).
I'm noticing a fog around my meshes in UDK, I've read that it's the ambient occlusion but disabling it doesnt seem to get rid of the problem. Anyone know whats causing this? If it is the ambient am I not adjusting the right setting?
