...Thats gameplay footage? [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TM5x72fk6o"]An early talkthrough of Gunpoint - a game about rewiring things and punching people. Watch in 720p. - YouTube[/ame] Throw money at that instead.
Hello Spectre, Yeah perhaps it doesn't look too great without leafs and stuff. It is supposed to be based on the last image on CGtextures http://cgtextures.com/texview.php?id=72976&PHPSESSID=aa1k291hmma85s84ksgknpgod4 but a bit more stylised.
Last week we finished our animation course in school. This was my final assignment. I used Andyrig 1.4.6 which is available here http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/character-rigs/c/the-andy-rig. All crits n stuff are welcome! Please watch in 720p! I did some facial animations.. :) [ame="…
little tiny update with a video this time >>> click here <<< ( be sure to watch it in 720P ) - created some leaves particles colliding with the ground. - desaturate the sky texture a bit - added some color variations to the existing trees / grass ( planning to add some diferente trees) - added and placed the wood fences…
I also want to add I feel sympathy for Ready at Dawn. People accuse PS4/XBO of being weak consoles, and thus there are many comments that ridicule games for it. Whether it's "bad textures" "low polygon counts" or "720p". I'm not defending RAD for saying "no" to gameplay. But the studio bit the bullet and did produce one of…
Don't UV each polygon separately. This is bad for two reasons: 1) it creates visible seams where the textures do not match perfectly. 2) it increases the vertex count in the game. It is better to UV a surface in larger contiguous pieces. In your example, the top of the island will be grass, so it should be mapped as one…
Like others have said, I would build a pc that costs only 1300-1500 bucks and upgrade/build a new one in 2-3 years. This way you get a lot more bang for the buck. But if you really want to spend your $4000 at once you could go with something like the following: CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2687W v2 (8 Cores, 16 Threads, 3400 Mhz) -…
Well hello again, I just gave the shader to someone to make it "Compute shader" - Which means I wanted it to be more GPU-side and therefore it'd use CPU less - But to the time, it didn't go well so I decided to update the shader and the scripts to optimize it. And here is the result so far. So far so good (59 fps while…
As a true representative of Gaben PC Master Race. I need the most powerful hardware on the market, to make sure that my superiority is going unchallenged and I can look at those console gamers who think that upscaled 720p and 30fps is good enough. On other note, not everyone is making console games. I say, that since…
