I'm guessing with gunship pilots, the short term advantages more than outweigh any potential long term effect. For day to day use however, who knows what damage it could do.
Sketchfab: Ok, good to know. Trying out substance painter on the pilot of the trike (both modeled a while back, just got around to rigging and texturing recently). edit: deleted images because of size
Micah would be cool, but I'm not sure, although that is a great explanation and backstory. But to me, one of the big trends from season to season is a complete disregard for some of the people with abilities from the last season. The electronics kid, the kid who could fly, the girl who could locate all other abilities (an…
I'm sickened by this . I want top gear with Jeremy and crew, not a trio of 'cliche americans'. This blows, and I hope the pilot episode flops. Not even flying in the Stig could make up for the lack of the true trio of car whit and whipping.
That Life Cycles trailer looks pretty damn amazing. i always love this stuff, wish i could get this good at it too :( Definitely one of my impossible dreams, next to becoming a fighter pilot...
I remember how upgrading the little Pell Silverbolt plane made the challenges with it much harder as it becomes so fast. I just couldn't pilot it under bridges anymore. No way to go back either...
Vassago: Yeah. All you need to know really is what the Stargate is, and even if you don't the pilot gives a pretty job of catching the audience up to speed. Check it out on Hulu or the sci-fi website.
Tinkerbell Concept. I'm actually designing her as a vehicle instead of an actual character. I thought I'd take this into a completely different direction. Peter will be piloting "her." I'll be rendering this in the near future. Any suggestions?
that is friggin awesome-sauce! I'm informing my brother-in-law (who's currently a film student) of his responsibility to contribute. immediately. *edit* doc rob - i love your scenes. the xwing pilot's face with the voice is hilarious.
Have you tried a space pilot? It helped me immensely when I was having chronic wrist pain. It has a learning curve but it is a superior way to navigate 3d space once you have tackled the learning curve.
