I Graduated from an Art School with a BA in Video Game Design a few years ago. Ever since I graduated many things in life took over, I turned 28, had my first born and began to procrastinate on my portfolio and spent more time with my family and friends than I should have. I've began to revamp my portfolio and really dig…
How do you know it has been created with little love? It's a small indie dev. Dong Nguyen posted a lot on twitter during development: 28 Days of Fame: The Strange, True Story of 'Flappy Bird' Really, I think the whole thing boils down to the "why didn't I think of that" hate. Did he copy the mechanics of The Helicopter…

Books are the best for reference but I’ve gathered some of my favorite anatomy related links and have added them here to help you out: http://www.artnatomia.net/index.html http://www.drawingbooks.org/ http://anatomicalart.tumblr.com/ http://learninganatomy.tumblr.com/…
Some beautiful machines there, and some down right ugly ones :) . I guess it's true that beauty's in the eye of the beholder. On those small ones (28 - 70mm) you tend to have to really accentuate details, push the big ones, loose the rest and then stylise in some way. Its good to have a few clear details for the collectors to paint well. Big shapes, not alot of noisy stuff.…
Yea I have em sorry I have just been using Xgen a lot lately and being too lazy to sculpt with the placeholders xD I have watched Frank Tzeng and Tom Newbury's prop tutorials and they say they usually use Angle of View of around 28 in Zbrush so that's what I've been using to get as close to a realistic perspective as I've…
hi there! As myles mentioned the face normal interpolation of the rays are not straight at the bolts thus they are baked wrong and have somekind of angular view in the normalmap. there are more less 2 ways to deal with it. 1 add bevel to the edges at the sides where the wrong direction is. 2 bake with an actual geometry…
