Either the blue skirts need to be less rough in their specularity, or the grey hull of the ship so you can get a better playful contrast between both. Have you also tried emulating the real look of F-16 Tomcats or F-22 Raptors? What are you rendering the animation in? I'm impressed by how faithful these designs are to this…
For those wondering the pen on the 22u mini has no eraser, nor are there any hotkeys on the tablet. If you use keyboard shortcuts like me then that won't be a problem. I would also suggest getting an ergotron LX arm for it. Having a 22 inch monitor sitting on my lap feels odd.…
I was using intous 4 for many years and recently got cintiq 22hd. I must say that the line quality is now a lot better and I can make better sketches more quickly. Also I tried cintiq 24 hd but I dont recommend it since it is very very heavy and you cant rotate it 360 angle like 22 hd.

TomGT: That's the catch 22, so far. To get these results, you need to make your tileset correctly. In terms of feasibility, Sam or Michael are better equipped to answer your question. Dropshadows and platforms! Look at that juicy corner/point deformation. Platform tools are similar to the larger shapes, but they can be…
Hey! I'm using UV-packmaster a lot in my workflow as it makes more controllable/better unwraps than blender defaults, so I definitely recommand it :) I'd say there's a bit of space lost with the donught shapes at the top. They could be straighten using UV Squares add-on and the Alt+E command…
Updated proportions a bit, and then had to fix a driver I wrote for the pen display I have (monoprice's 22 inch pen display which didn't have any drivers for windows 8 and zbrush doesn't support window's ink api). Fixed the driver's so that pressure sensitivity actually works now so got to work on the head some tonight…
Did some additional work on the feets, as well as the basic materials. Also brought the feets into UE4 and added some decals Since I want to build the gundam in real size (22 meters high), I decided to use mid-poly modeling with chamfered edges and floating decals & normal projection details. Will move on to the lower leg,…
Thank you! and yeah I'll see if I can bulk up the wings a bit, as well as bulge out the windshield more. I was trying to go for a Vtol that can travel at speeds similar to modern fighter jets in atmosphere, so I based a lot of my design choices off of the F-22 Raptor. But the engine is behind the main hull and underneath…
