Hey there everyone. This is a current piece I'm working on in Zbrush. I am doing a study emulating a stylized piece. I am using multiple references for this study and plan to make a low poly based off this model. Feedback would be really appreciated. -
Re: How do people get so much resolution in their textures on low poly models?
There are few more thing that matter . Substance Painter as any of modern 3d mesh painting soft does slightly more blurry textures because they don't work in integer texture space math. Even if you work in twice of target resolution initially . People used special one pixel brushes and pixel art style to do textures ones.… -

They are innovative, they just use the same characters but if you compared e.g. Mario Golf and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga you'd notice that these games have nothing in comon except for that annoying "plumber".
