I think the fisheye effect comes from a ridiculously high fov, somewhere around 180. I dont know really, theres probably some way you can distort a camera view in kismet, but I'd presume you might need coding to distort the player view/viewport. -

Thanks for the input, JoshuaG. I'm fond of that one, myself. However, I'm having trouble figuring out a way to make that setup at all beleivable, being rear-fed. In the end, I actually rotated the magazine around 180 degrees on #1, so it makes more sense. I'll post an update soon, Cheers!! -

The bind pose is already set with the skeleton being upside down. If I export the character upside down I just have the same problem, because I need to flip him right side up in the game. It all ends up with a 180 degree rotation applied to the root, which I can't have. -

Yeah, that doesn't sound right to me, either. Just tried in modo rendering an 8k output (which includes world space normals, ambient occlusion, specular occlusion, surface ID and some gradient/incidence maps) took 2 minutes and 1.3 seconds. And the HP mesh is around 12 million polys total. -

omg.. My first 3d app was cinema4d which let you type in stuff like 360/8/2+180 and what not for specific rotations. I was missing that in Maya. Did not realize it uses code like additions/muliplications/division/whatever. Very handy. Thanks for pointing that out. =D -

Hi Chai, You're exporting OBJs from Modo, right? Hard edges in Marmoset will be caused by splits in the mesh or by attempting to use vertex normal maps. I always delete all vertex normal maps and smooth my models by using a material with it's smoothing angle set to 180°. Hope that helps.
