Hi, my name is Gru and I am the head of Ennoble Studios. I have 2 Steam-published games behind me, 3+ years in Unity programming (C#), 5+ years in IT/software employment, asset store developer... I am looking for a game designer that is reliable and willing to help with the project from the starting phases. You would be…
without testing the theory .. it's probably the $time input parameter available to designer graphs. assuming you have designer it wouldn't be much work to recreate the example in the video (use $time as the blend alpha input)
Those are two very different designs. The FN P90 was designed to be ambidextrous and comfortable to use but I don't think they put as much effort into the design of that rifle. I have to agree though, that part of the model looks really impractical.
Of course, but then you'd be an artist and a designer. Haha, I just meant that design is a different discipline than art, just like programming. Didn't mean to imply they are mutually exclusive. Also, the "tvtropes: Game design edition" sounds awesome. ;)
Where CAD packages shine is in creating objects that were (or would be) designed using CAD packages. This holds true for any modelling paradigm and there are trends that stem from the software available to industrial designers at the time things were designed.
A material I made for the tomb's wall. Going to create a few of the tile pieces and then my lead and I are going to discuss colour preference of the tribal style design. I painted the design in ZBrush and transferred it over as an alpha into Designer.
yep, let me elaborate: if you're a noob, designing your own character from scratch is just throwing another variable into the mix. A bad character designed that is modeled well is just as bad as a great design modeled poorly.
Lol, yes! I just meant that I was always usually focused more on character design than UI. And I'd like to start a focus on UI design since getting a job in graphic design but having a passion for games.
I've got: Substance Designer 4 Substance Designer 4 - Indie Substance Designer 5 - Indie Substance Painter Indie Bitmap2Material 2 - Indie Does that mean i've got to shell out for B2M 3 to get it?
If you want to do game design, I'd recommend USC. We've been rated the #1 game design program for some years now from the Princeton Review. http://www.princetonreview.com/press/game-design-press-release
