I'm rendering a face in Marmoset, she is already textured and i wanted to change some wrinkles in her face in zbrush, do i need to bake my normal map again after i do the changes? Thanks!
To be more specific, when the player dies he is respawned back to town, where he is then reborn from inside the ground. To make sure the player doesn't get bored too quickly, I sped up the 'getting out' process a little bit. Would love to hear any criticism to help me improve though! https://youtu.be/9wBgHVVxIMI
Does anyone found anything truly new and useful there ? I see Splatter v2 allows dense details with tiny scale but still does same aliased depth combine and bad alpha for something like tiny twigs or grass blades. I am still using old fx-map nodes instead . More controllable and easier to modify. Anything other new and…
Ok i think i got this. I simply lowered the noise threshold from 0.1 to 0.001 (maybe an overkill). Here is the result. Still weird though. As i said i used this same light for other similar scenes and nothing like this has ever happened. Here is a previous example. Thank you again for you time
Hey, my name's Gavin! I'm a self-taught artist who's been poking at 3D for several years, mostly making prop/environment art. Polycount's been a big help for me, and I felt I might as well join, post stuff and help other people if I can!

I want to work with static geometric shapes and patterns (I'm not interested in animation) and only a little in coloring, but I'd like to have flexibility to create effects like water or an…
Hello My name is Cecil Purihin and I am a music producer that makes weird trippy instrumental chill beat music, and I want to be in your videogame. My goal as a music artist, besides releasing music, is to compose soundtracks for films and video games. A good friend of mine referred me here, and said that there are a lot…
So i re did the whole case as i was having a real trouble in optimizing it from high poly to low poly and do the uv map on it.So i did the second case the first three images after the green one and again i ran into optimizing problem because whenever i brought the optimized mesh into painter i could see i wasn't proper. So…
I was in a similar situation a few years ago. I was struggling so much to find my first job, and working on my portfolio but feeling like I was just making stuff but never getting anywhere. I got a email from a semi shady company that had me do an art test, and send the .fbx files ( i know now I shouldn't have but I was so…
