[wip]Max payne alike high poly char
I startet my first model using edit poly a week ago. I needed a highpoly model for some fooling around with normalmaps. So far I only worked with edit mesh, so it was actually a lot of fun to do this. But somehow I still have to find a way to work better, it took me propably around 10 hours to do this guy I just built him… -

Already baked model, to new topology? Rebaked.
Is this a bad practice to do? Basically like lod's but baked down from say 300k to a 100k new version? BUT using the would've been lowpoly mesh, 300k, to the new 100k final version & NOT baking the highpoly to new version. Why not? say i couldn't separate the model but the high is separated objects. okay so right off the bat I see that your biggest problems come from the profile view, it´s an important view, don´t ignore it. The head is too wide from the profile and not long enough down. See how you sculpted the cheek so it curves into the nose shape? it shouldn´t do that. And how the orbital bones of your skull is… -
