I have been wanting to up my game in the Sub D world for some time now, and decided I would try my hand at a weapon with a few complex pieces. I'm starting simple as far as weapons go, just a Remington 870 Tactical Shotgun, my biggest challenge was the muzzle brake, the hand pump, and the rail. I was thinking of adding…

I use mostly customized max hotkeys - I pulled this section out you can use. 1) Run the macros 2) Set rRemove under category Robot to a hotkey It doesn't do the exact same as the max remove -- It won't remove a vert from an edge if the angle around it is < 170 degrees. To change the degree number, change the section in red…
Hey guys, it is my first post in this part of Polycount. I need some advices about pieces for my first portfolio. I'm aiming into hard surface modeling (as you can see I like weapons) but I realize I can't deliver only guns, I need more variety and I'm working on it. I'm self-taught, I model in 3ds max, texturing in…
Hey Guys, just a quick question regarding performance on Substance Painter. If I change any parameters substance is slow and goes through the red loading bar at the bottom of the screen, this happens with all parameters, even base colour. I'm working at 2k resolution and have nothing else open apart from substance painter…
