Thinking that randomly extruding faces from a cube to roughly get the shape of some spikey alien ship, then applying a lambert with 0.6 translucent and tinted red was the coolest thing ever.
That's not a bad idea, at all, actually. The last time I touched Maya was in 2006, and at that point I had gotten very comfortable with it. I kind of regret not keeping up with it now.
Erm, yeah you could get them in 00g, but you wouldn't be able to see much detail. Still, not much point going up in sizes for the sake of a greentooth plug!
