For the wings i'm planning to take references from anivia which is why its so spiky since the wings are ice crystals but in the statue it would just be rock as for the pose I'm looking at something along the lines of this: I agree that the angel statue flows a lot better so I'll have to try to make it work in the pose :)
Wow so much hate... I'm looking forward to this game, I like all the Tomb Raider games made my Crystal Dynamics. I think it's unfair to say that's the worst character art, Tomb Raider characters have always been kind of stylized I think you just don't like the style of it.
Great idea! I think you're incorporating too much of his whole design though. If you look at the other custom wards they only use a small element of the character, like Crystal Maiden's staff and Banes little demon hands. I'd lose the arms, they're too literal and make the design too busy.
This just crystal clears everything. Wow O.O Usually if someone posts something like this on PC, PC makes people (who are responsible for something like this,) suffer and brings them to the point where you cant access their website anymore because its been shut down. (Not linking the threads but I have seen it happen.)
lol i must be blind because most of the xbox ones looked a lot similar to the PC than the ps4 ones. the higher contrast looks better and most textures looked crisper. I like the subtle DOF in some of the console shots vs mostly being crystal clear on PC, like the shots with the chopper in the background.

I am trying to render a crystal/diamond sphere - I am about 80% I feel, but I'd like to get stronger highlights. I've messed around with some of the settings in mental ray but not getting anything I'm particularly happy with. Any thoughts? I personally wish you'd get rid of that fog, for the most part. I don't love the washed-out look it has right now- I want to see those beautiful colours that I know are there behind the bluish tinge.. I would think the medieval skies would be clear as crystal, with no real pollution. But I love it, otherwise.
