Hey danshewan. I am not sure what is the second way you are talking about, but what I do is lets say for the gloss map - just flatten all the layers of your file for the gloss map and copy it this one layer , open the channels tab and if you dont have alpha channel create new one and paste your layer with the gloss map…

Hi, I cannot open video files neither in the RAM player, nor in the Rendering Menu --> View Image file, nor using it as Environment Map (background). In my other Windows I can do that. What's wrong? I tried reinstalling the codecs but it didn't help.
A friend of mine is one of the owners of S2 games...and they have been working on a game that is pretty much an exact replica of dota, but standalone. I have some beta keys for any of you kids who actually played DOTA? Would be good to have some more sensible players!
At our studio we are producing a full-blown Starfox parody for the iPhone ALA 'Team America'-style. So far it's been pretty fun(ny) working on the game. I'm currently working on the player's ship, crits and comments are more than welcome :) Edit: forgot the polycount, 178 faces
Good idea with the WorldpositionOffset, too bad its only a "visual" offset and the collision of the mesh does not actually change, afaik. But that should work fine with small offsets for things like snow or sand where the player can supposedly "sink in" a little anyway.
Ready Player One was an awesome book but the ending was a
bit too "perfect". But I gotta say this piece is fantastic. Really
love the attention to detail from the transition from 2D to 3D and you give us
a breakdown to boot. Top work pal!
I don;t have a good answer but maybe a solution for you: https://app.pluralsight.com/player?name=32802061-51e1-4e8b-a044-17b799aef1dc&mode=live&clip=0&course=unity-maya-game-character-animation&author=mark-butler
Thats one gripe Ihave with the books. Martin always gows into too much description about all the lords in the scene and their houses and their sigils. Its important to know the major players in that scene but he always talks about the lesser lords that are completely nonconsequential.
This looks gr8, what the recently-released Amnesia 2 should have been, I guess. What I don't like is the whimpering and generally Americanized (sorry guys) reactions of the main character to the story. Best to let players experience the game for themselves
