Helping out a friend with a project, working on this AR15: This is basicly all still 'low poly'. Tomorrow I will start adding some actual details.. I know there is a lot of knowledge here when it comes to creating weapons, this is my first so any advice is more than welcome :)

just a little scene I will be working on for my showreel, been doing more weapon stuff as of late. I'd say I've finished the highpoly, so it's onto the low next. I'll also be making a carry case along with this, just to give it a bit more style.

Electrified weapons (effects would be replaced with greenish lighting, thematic with OS) Ultimate now calls down an air strike in his area, the lightning circle is now a green target, in it are shadows of airplanes flying over the area, enemies caught in it are bombarded by the planes (2nd picture shows it)
I'd ask why you want your job to stop at importing assets. Don't you care about the final product? Maybe you should try becoming a weapons or vehicle artist instead?

I concur. And for what its worth commenting as a hard surface/weapons artist, your stylized chars look good so no need to then hand over 80k for Gnomon too otherwise re-affirm that.
