I was not trying to start a flame war. Everyone is trying to play to their political gain, and or advantage it seems like at the expense of Ukrain. One issue here is the downsizing of our military which has republicans in arms so now everyone is trying to spin. I dont get political they are both liars and cheats
@Inhert Thanks man! Yes im trying to get as close to the concept to get that villain/heroic feel. I will fix the proportions and try to get around 9heads to see which is better. I'll try do with marvelous designer for the clothes. :) @Fishypants Hope i wont disappoint you! haha thanks~
I hardly ever use pinch for this very reason. I would just try to hit it with hpolish as best you can. You can try turning off the option for pinch that doesn't suck all the geo to the area you are trying to pinch but that obviously makes the tool much less effective.
Well, the first thing I'd try is repeating the process with a different model import. Also, what format are you importing? .obj? try another one. Also, try flipping the normals. The fact that it looks fine in the preview but bad in the viewport actually to me seems to be a Zbrush Materials/Lighting screwup or setting.
yes the normals appear to be slightly bent should I manually rotate them or something to your second point the low poly isn't finished yet I'm just trying to sort the baking issues low poly without bevel
Well like the title says I'm trying to finish my first actual piece. I spent the last four years in college kind of drifting until I finally settled on the Game Industry and specifically art as what I want to do. So to that end I'm trying to start up a portfolio of work. However, I always seem to get halfway through a…
The eyes look flat. Put a finger in the middle corner of you eye and one in the outer corner and with your hand level with your face see how much angle there is. Never do a closed mouth model when it is for yourself. You are missing 20 percent of the learning opportunity. Keep your retopology polygons as square as…
I've setup just a head mesh with some solid color diffuse, normal and roughness. But I've getting some unwanted results while setting up my lighting. I'm trying to get rid of some sharp shadows, but by changing the source length by as little as 0.001 it gives me some ugly scattering. I seems like the skin scattering in UE5…
yeah I wasnt trying to make the dorothy that people already know I was trying to re-envision her as a character in a classical painting like the ref I posted. Overall not a great success I was working crunch while trying to make this model so definitely not my best work. It will not be in my portfolio :)
Do you have the 6.0.1 patch installed? Its almost like the file was made with 6.0.1 and you are running 6.0 so it thinks 6.0.1 is invalid. Or you could try maya fileconverter and try converting it to another version then try opening it again http://www.highend3d.com/maya/plugins/?section=utilities#2936
