Hi guys! I found an old model of Ashbringer that I was working on in Uni long ago before I dropped it. After fixing it I added it to 3DCoat to handpaint the model. I really really hate UVing in Max so I used 3DCoat instead.

Hello! I am using 3DStudio Max and noticed that some of the faces on my model appear lighter when I apply a .TGA and render. If anyone could give me some insight into fixing this issue, please let me know! Thank You very much!
Is it possible to render a tiling plane (using "Save Screen Image") with the light effects and viewport filters turned on onto an image? I know you can specify the height and width of an image but the viewport camera has to be exact in order for it to tile correctly. Has anyone ever tried this?

im making an oil drum and im trying to generate a normal map + ambient occlusion from teh high res mesh but for some damn reason... i really need help with this. so heres the high poly next to teh low poly can someone walk me through how to get the normal maps + AO maps, please.
I've had this a few times in the past and sometimes it's been fixed by changing the normal from DirectX to OpenGL and vice versa, other times by rebaking and sometimes not at all!
