Hey guys! I'm trying to pose this little fella here, based on Alan Stewart's concept. Through this pose I'm trying to make him look as he is sitting on the bench in a middle of a hockey game, just gazing and not giving a dam about anything :) how would you suggest I can emphasize that emotion?
This is really super work. Try putting an image of your current progress as the first image in the first post. Use a .jpg format so the pic will show up in the preview box. Great stuff, looking forward to seeing this develop.
I lost my previous job during the post Fable: The Journey layoffs. Same shit. I want people to buy that game. I didn't bust a nut for two years along with some 60 or so other people who also lost their jobs, only to sweep the achievement under the carpet.
Hey Polycount, working on an Orc pit fighter character as a final project in my Creature Modeling Class. I'll be posting progress here. Here's a WIP sculpt and just getting started on polypaint I still need to make him a weapon and figure out a pose The end goal is to get him posed and rendered by the 18th C+C appreciated

I love your stylization with the forms in the sculpted stone pieces, as well as the intricate little details (especially on the stone bench) As far as the large dragon sculpture, I love the globe-like sphere it's sitting on; the small pattern on the base and the greenish metal…
I was a slowpoke in writing this, so several people have already commented on things I've written here. A lot of what I've said comes down to taste, and it's focused more on modelling/texturing rather than some of the technicalities of UDK. First thing, get rid of the car. It feels really out of place and distracting. If…
It jumps? odd, I think these 3d programs are designed to pivot around a selected object or by the world space by default ... or most recent position ... so i think you need to select something and click on the option for recentering your viewport nav thing ... sorry this isnt very concise, its actually been a while since…
You might be baking with different settings than what the 3D viewer is expecting. By that I mean there are a lot of different ways to bake and interpret normal maps and not every baker does it the same way and not every viewer is expecting the same results. One of the most common issues when baking in Maya is an inverted…
