Posing lowpoly character+ clothes

may i ask what your workflow is for osing char + clothes?
at the moment i have body +separate clothes.
I thoght i maybe could pose the body and inside marvelous designer i could use morphtarget to also pose the clothes, but i am unsure if this is the best way.
