pic's might be more enticing then a link to a rar file. I like it a lot, the legs/boots are great! Crits: - Providing the model in .obj format will let more people play with it in different 3D apps. - Unwrap the model and providing sample templates will get people rolling quicker. - Reset your material editor and only show…
So on the slide serrations for the LP, you can just use a flat face for the cut-out and have the other geometry floating over it? Interesting, thanks for sharing. Looks good!
Yeah, I think I'll try to bake it to the ribs and if that's not working out I can remove it easily and just go with a flat bottom as I am using floating geometry.
lol cholden . DELETE! Its a shame you acctualy manage to get fat over muscle. Of course Fat will be gain in a big Bulking phase. ( easy to lose in cutting phase after). But anyway. U FAILED SIR. IN A BULKING PHASE U HAVE TO GAIN MUSCLE OVER ANYTHING ELSE. U sir. HAVE FAILED. PERHAPS U SHOULD TRY SOME MILITARY PRESS.. SOME…
Right now things are looking too flat, white, and empty. There is nothing in the scene that really draws the eye. SuperFranky is right about the jagged edges you have on your arches - they're very distracting. You might want to add some geo to them to smooth things out. You also might want to take a look at some sci fi…
Woah, so many entries this month! Amazing to see everyone's takes on the concepts! Thank you! Great work! My only advice would be for the grunge. You have a fair bit of grunge in the concave sections of the light housing and underside, but this is juxtaposed by the rather clean flat and convex surfaces. Perhaps evening…
Max usually saves the position of any toolbars you have opened and positioned but is there a way to save the position of the layers and transform toolbox without having to individualy open them each time you load up max? I tried setting them up how I like them in the viewport and then saving over the default maxstart file…
Only problem Im having now is Im still getting tons of waviness on flat surfaces...and for whatever reason, my floating geo isnt baking into the normal map..
There's still nothing stopping it from falling flat on its face. It may actually be a flaw in the design of the original model. It's a bit hard to tell from the angle it's shot from.
I odn't know how important the +/- are for your battery to glow properly and with what level of fidelity you want them to glow - do you want lots of fake 'cast' light on the area next to it, or do you want the +/- to be clear? If it's the latter, consider modeling them and floating them above slightly, and giving them a…
