Hi everyone! I've been doing this prop for some time and finally finished. I would deeply appreciate if someone would critique this piece. From geo to textures. It was intended to be game-ready but 16k triangles, in the end, seem too high, so I guess it will be just for practice.
I am Using Blender for modelling and I always get stuck at modelling alphabets so, this is my practice to get better at it and would be happy to hear any feedback on the Loops or edge flows or topology feedbacks and changes.
After a while of having fun with non-symmetrical Anatomy sculpting practice in Quarantine days, I decided to model one of my favorite concepts from amazing Max Grecke! I also made a mini pass by step of my sculpting process.Hope you guys enjoy it!
The is my first work in substance painter. This asset for practice and portfolio purpose. Modelled in 3Ds Max and finished texturing in substance painter. I use Photoshop to create some alpha, rendered in Marmoset 3. Check out my artstation: https://www.artstation.com/aloksaha
So I started a sketch to practice some of the thing I learned from my Last piece. I had to get all the Galapagos tortoise imagery out from my head. He's eyeless at the moment. I'm thinking of fitting hair in somehow. Zbrush and substance painter.
More modeling practice! This is a model of an old cannonball safe - aptly titled I suppose - that I saw when out googling cool stuff to model. The door is rigged to open as it would with the real thing. Modeled in Max, textured in Substance Painter 2 and rendered with Iray. Thanks for looking!
Inspired by thread about Obi-Wan's lightsaber I decided to do something myself as PBR practice :) I made my hilt based on simple small foldable tripod for camera :) Comments and critique appreciated. [SKETCHFAB]48686f2ff7f348deae386186e7081b30[/SKETCHFAB] Here are screens:
SO yeah, here's where I'm gonna post all my practice sculpts. So far I have a male head, aiming for understanding the relationship between bone structure and fat/skin. It's a start I guess. Crits appreciated.
Just finished up this generic powerbox... or is it a telephone box??? I have no idea anyway just practicing with highpoly stuff with bakes and what not. I brought this into Zbrush to do the small details like dents and what not. Crap now that i look at it the wire on the bottom could use a bit of softening :P
Hey Guys. I came to the realization I need women in my portfolio. I need practice with the female form. So I decided to baby steps. Here is my wip of the sith warrior known as Asajj Ventress. One of my favorite characters from this new starwars stuff.
