Hey Guys. I came to the realization I need women in my portfolio. I need practice with the female form. So I decided to baby steps. Here is my wip of the sith warrior known as Asajj Ventress. One of my favorite characters from this new starwars stuff.

I guess this is the tuff Sith chick from the Clone Wars cartoon, right? Looks good so far, although her arms look pretty skinny, and not in a natural way. I seem to remember that her skirt was floor-length, too, wasn't it?

I'm anxious to see her face textured, and see how you bring her from minimalist cartoon to realism. Keep going!

Yes very cool model but i agree with Jerome arms are kinda skinny. Overall excelent work, keep it going cant wait to see her with texture. Cheers!

The Forearms and Bracers need more preportion and a lil more definement. Other than that, looks good.

is this hi or lo poly? it lo, then why not texture the shin, arm and hand composition?

yes the arms are looking mighty funky, very unnatural, need to be beefier or sumthing, and Badge is right about the texturing, no need to model that stuff, its a waste of polies, keep up the good work man

Cool - nice design on this one mate and it should look cool when its all textured up.

At the moment though, it looks as if it has details that shouldn't be on a low-poly model, but not enough detail for a high-poly model. Is it gonna be high-poly?

The body looks great, but I'd try to get some detail into the headtexture. It looks very plastic alike at the moment. And there seems to be a skinmesh problem with the shoulders

I dig it! The face looks a little odd to me from certain angles. Personally, I don't think it matters that she doesn't look black enough, the Sith pastey skin effect kinda takes over. Up close you might be able to squeeze more details in, but from the distance you see her from in the shots I think she looks great. Good job! She is one of favorite new characters along with Aurra Sing, maybe you could work on Aurra next?

How many polies is she? She'd look pretty damn slick in Jedi Academy.

she does look pretty damn good. though i am not a fan of this "forced" angry look. also i think the upper or lower part of the lips should be more narrow to get some more exictment in her face. the nose looks a bit long in comprehension to the face. besides that, she looks very good. the body is well done. I would add a bit more curves on her hips but thats maybe a personal taste.
Keep adding some more texture detail on some parts to make her more intersting!
