5,422 tris, 2048 color, mono chrome specular, 2048 normal I don't get to do any detailed projects for work, so I took some time to practice sculpting, texturing, normal mapping, and some advanced character rigging, well advanced for me that is.

Refining my workflow and trying out some new things. Mostly blockout stuff so far except for the blade, which I consider maybe 50% done. Tricount is something like 700 iirc and it's 1024x1024 (wasteful, but it's for texture practice only so) Be harsh! :P
Hey, I'm very interested in learning more about texture theory. Does anyone have any good sources? I am interested in practice and how to follow a correct workflow, however I would like to investigate more of the theory behind textures. Thanks for any help.
Nothing special, more of a practice run for me. My next projects will have better design from the concept up to the final marketing artwork. Busy trying to get posing right in 3ds max.... Thanks to Polycount for the tutorials. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=171582546
Death's Scythe 'Harvester' from Darksiders game. Just some a practice piece might use it in a UDK mod i'm working on with some friends. Just started working on the mats. Keep running into issues with xnormal normals not looking right. Might have to bake them in 3ds Max.

This was a project to help me in a few areas, to practice my realistic stylized art, and to get more aquatinted with blender. I think there is still a lot of improvements I can make to this texture wise. but for now I'd like to move on, I will for sure come back to improve this later.
