Hey PacoCasares, looking good. Before you move onto the low poly though I'd suggest hardening some of those edges so they look more rock-like. Right now the piece is looking a little doughy. Some of the rocks have a sort of bendy quality to them, making them look soft instead of like hard slabs of stone. Hope that helps.…
Something I've been working with just to do some quick scenery. I feel that it is nearly complete. I see several trouble spots with the textures in this pic: the front step, the sides of the porch. I am also working up a normal map to make the boards pop a bit. All criticism appreciated.
Hey guys, I've just recently finished this off... it's based off a concept art by an artist named Mireys on DeviantArt. Let me know what you guys think. Also, a Sketchfab model :) model More shots on my ArtStation. C&C Welcome still.
Darksiders styled art tends to be heavily diffuse-powered. Id say if you want to use a photo to get the gritty details, I'd get rid of a lot of the noise and focus on getting large, readable shapes. What your wall is missing is the "I'M A FUCKING WALL" that is present in darksiders walls. Your sculpt seems like it had very…
Hi you guys, the scene's looking really good! The new rock texture is nice, a good mix of stone and scratches, and the shape is interesting. One thing I might change though is some of the color scheme. At the moment it seems too red, and it's a little overwhelming. You could try breaking it up with some extra light sources…
the huge circle the donut that I mentioned :) As for the pilalr, I can't tell that it is wood (i mean new pillar) becuase it does not seem to have any wood specific patterns. Also the cracks are quite "stonish" as well. It looks to me more like a WoW stone pillar, but ochre (and therefore "wood") tone. Beside diffuse…
nice so far colour wise i would stick to the colours in the ref IE grassy mossy ground mostly green palnts with the odd brown one, the ground here kind of looks like its crawling up the side of the stones giving a very unregular soft silohette this is nice trees are looking a touch nuked green get a less saturated deeper…

My only concern is the stone. The Chimney and the stone wall are too different. The wall stones are not to big but the seams between the stones compared to the chimney.
Just saw this posted on some other forums. I don't know how true it all is, but it seems completely in character for Tarantino to me. http://www.therealgrindhouse.com/ (Read the text below the trailer stuff) I've got to admit, I've never liked a thing about Tarantino, so I'm biased to believe that it's true and spread the…
