Artifacts appearing when normal map is place on an object. Need help.
I'm currently trying to create my first scene inside Ue4 and unfortunately have run into a complete road block. When I apply a material with a normal map that I baked, artifacts appear next to a hole in the mesh along the some of the polygons edge lines. Zbrush-imported texture map is offset (resolved)
So I was projecting an xyz displacement map in mudbox. These two heads are the same, they have the same uv´s etc, but when I apply my map as a displacement map in zbrush everything is in the wrong place. This sounds like the result of comparing a color managed application (photoshop) to a non color managed application (whatever you are previewing with).
