I appear to be a new person on these here boards. You see I'm quite confused that I've not noticed this forum before, I've been lurking around the Blender Forums for a few months as I've fairly recently gotten in to game design through helping a friend of mine develop a fairly ambitious open-world sandbox RPG indi game…
Since this seems to be a very common topic that pops up quite often in General Discussion, we decided to keep all education related questions consolidated into one thread. Not only will this keep the boards from cluttering up with redundant topics, but it will allow users to find all the information they need in one place.…
Cube projection is really fast and easy, but it makes terrible cuts across anything not rectilinear. Better to copy and repack existing UVs, making sure not to rotate nor non-uniform scale them.
Yeah this is a great sign! Just steam alone shows insane growth over the holidays https://vrlfg.net/VRUsage Not to mention quest alone has had more new users for my game over the past two weeks than its entire lifespan over the last year on all headsets. Good things happening in 2020 :)
Here's an update from me! started in on some trees and got alot of the smaller metal pieces into the scene. Played with my saturation.... once again. Crits please! It's definitely gonna take me past the deadline to finish this and I for sure will! Just been really busy with my last year of high school and work! D:
Of the two, the last one looks better. Bit of fog on the water would fit nicely, a bit too crisp for my taste now. Think you benefit from some particle effects as well, flies and pollen and what not, for some added depth. You got a sweet scene going, just need some final touches.

Surface pro 3 was announced in May of last year. I'd expect an announcement for a Surface Pro 4 around the same time this year. I've been looking for a good portable art device and the 512gb Cinitiq 2 looks perfect, the fact that it can double as a cintiq when plugged into a desktop extends the utility and lifespan of the…
Matter of fact, I killed my intel stock cooler while ocing an E8200 lol, no amount of thermal paste on it helped. I switched over to a Freezer Pro 7, and have had it 24/7 @3.8ghz for a few months now. On load it gets no higher than 56c in prime95 and is running 1:1 fsb:ram.
Ashamed to admit this, but 2 Xbox Controllers and a Headset later yes, i rage quit FIFA 13 a whole lot. Something about that game that makes it impossible to withhold the anger and quit. Slowly learning to control it and just put the controller down gently, mainly for the fact its my last working controller now haha.
