My Polycount thread just disappeared?
Hey, I can't find any tech support for Polycount so I guessed I'd make a forum post about it. I made a thread over in the 3D art section last night and I was editing it just earlier. When I went to save the edit it gave me an error saying I didn't have permissions and now it's completely disappeared? Can anyone help me?… -
Does a 3d model polycount determine the resolution of the texture?
Im intermediate at 3d modeling but self taught so this might sound like a silly question. I see models in the 60,000 polycount range and lower but the texture resolution on them is so sharp and clear. So is it possible to have a model that is 60,000 polys wrapped with a texture that is say 4K? -

This is a request if anything, for a Polycount RSS feed. I've no idea what it entails creating such a thing but I do know I'd love to have one. If you could customize which forums it monitors (GD, 2D/3D, P&P, etc.) that'd be even more awesome. S'bout time we catch up with the times and get some more features like this… -
