I'm like #250 on the waiting list for BYOC, but I may have to cut the time short on Saturday, wife is leaving for Australia for 3 weeks.

i think the easiest place to meet is one of the bars in the hotel that quakecon is in. Possibly the rathskeller or however you spell that place...

its the bar in the basement. kind of like a sports bar thats where we usually ended up.

Nah would love to come along again,Mr Rockstar invited me a month or so ago to come along again,but unfortunatily as the last 2 years have gone I can't afford the flights....

Yeah I hope we get some direct feed of Rage, there has only been cam stuff so far (i think). The keynote is still going, will probably be a while before sites get it up.

I couldn't make it this year but my friends and colleagues Jared and Dave are there representing Splash Damage. They're probably wearing bright orange SD football (soccer) shirts. Tell them MoP said hi, it'll confuse them!

Lee: If you were looking for me prior to whatever time this post time is, I was asleep in my room (yep, I actually slept). Anyway, I should be here until about 7pm or 8pm (I'm getting my laptop out of here early so I can have everything packed for my flight tomorrow).

I walked up and down row 17 A, B, C at least 5 times during the day, and I didn't see ya. We managed to score a bunch of QCon shirts and lots of t-shirt swag. next year, I'm definitely bring my computer or laptop.

Good times didn't bump into any Polycounters, I thought I saw Bobo in the crowd, i stood in front of him in case he didn't recognize me, but might of seen the PC logo on my back.

I was at the end of B17 facing the vendor area, so dunno how you'd have missed me, but it probably would've helped if you'd shouted my name or something. Oh well, always next time (if I go, anyway- I'd like to).

Anyway, didn't see any PC folks either. Dropped by the Rathskeller around 9-930 PM and got dinner, didn't see anyone else there though. You're all losers!

Oh yeah, talked to Jared briefly (mostly 'cause I wanted to see if he remembered me from a project [don't think he did]). Seems the git changed his nickname from Birddawg though, the bastard. Asked him about Frankie, but made sure not to mention you, Mop, 'cause you're evil. Plus it was before you posted.

schmoozing with the ID cats must be nice I was happy to score a QCon shirt without getting smacked in the jaw like my friend did when he jumped to get his. Those QCon fans are savages!
