Well, I reset the hotkeys to Mudbox default and it hasn't changed anything...so I don't imagine that would be it. I haven't messed around at all with the hotkeys, and I don't have any background programs installed at all that I know of. So frustrating. I'll try to mess around with more hotkeys but I'm at a loss. -

The problem with cutting more polys out is that you can zoom in very close to all the models in Dawn of War. The size I show is the default camera angle/zoom. The model this one is going to replace has a poly count of 3568 and is much more detailed including a mouth. The same models are used for up close in game cinimatics. -

I'd go for UT2004, because at least themodel would get used. it's not that hard to get a model in, if you use a default skeleton, not as easy as Quake2 was, but fairly easy. It's less easy, but not difficult to have a custom animated characterin UT2K4. HL2... I'd say wait 6 months until the path is more well documented.… -

I set a key bind for "history backward" to ctrl-z and shift-alt-z to go forward and back in the history. You might want to set the default level of undo's higher, also. To check key binds or re-bind them go to edit/keyboard shortcuts. I unbind undo-redo as it is usless to me. -

Made some Xgen hair (to learn about it) and imported to Zbrush. I'm not going to use it as something final, just for testing. If you make moves for each character, like with Sniper... Perhaps someone with skills in other areas would pick up on this idea. I will however admit that I would like it better if everyone had their default melee weapons instead rather than using their fists... It would be a very neat reference to the melee battles in TF2… -

no, it has to do with you having too many channels. by default, if you remove the background layer, your image has an alpha map now, even if it doesn't have an alpha map in the channels tab. adding an alpha map in the channels tab as well, causes there to be 2 alpha map, and therefore you have too many channels. -

When I have mirrored/copied UVS I tried break it off where there will be a hard edge. That can't always be done with default Maya render, but with your design you can. The mirrored parts should have been broken where the orange shoulder part is. It would have really hidden/reduce the seams nicely.
