December 29 Metal plates Caster progress. Using Toolbag2 seriously for the first time so it's a bit tricky for me to get the texture maps perfect. Albedo, tangent normals, occlusion, cavity, spec, gloss. Next up is adding wear and tear and adjusting the spec/gloss accordingly. Using nDo2 for additional micro detail.
The denial is probably just a play on wording though - Kojima and friends have been doing that for years now :) Like Hayter on his casting for MGSV : Yup, he's not in MGV, because that game doesn't exist. And he's not even been here a year yet! I think this is one of the best Gears environment sets thats been made here. It's probably the richest section of the new DLC pack, the resolution is amazing as is the continuity between pieces, its very authentic feeling.
