'Ello, lovely world of the polycount marmoset interwebs. Let's get to the point. 1. Setting up a scene in blender, including stage, model and camera. 2. Exporting said scene with the posed model (posed armature) as .fbx. 3. Importing .fbx into marmoset. The model is back in T-Pose. Even if I apply transformation in the…
If you entered but didn't finish, what was the primary reason? I picked up a pretty big freelance contract that prevented me from finishing. How did you feel about the deadline? I thought it was fine. I know how fast I work and I feel like I would've fairly easily been able to finish within the allotted amount of time if…
@ vidGameDude This extends much further than make exploding barrels red. Like Adam pointed out we are in the business of communicating visually. We've actually had this discussion a few times on polycount in the forums over the years and it always yields good results. This wasn't the end all be all news post to define the…
I actually prefer the more angular face of two posts up, but then again I don't know much about horses/ponies, so you may be right. I do think you should move his head forward, as the current pose doesn't feel natural at all. If you look at the reference you've posted so far, the neck usually goes much further out.
I've been using it almost exclusively since 2017 hit. There's very little settings to worry about. The quality setting is "Signal to Noise Ratio", so if you set it to 20.0 db, you are basically asking to get "20 part clear, 1 part noise". Choose Fast Path Tracing instead of Advanced. Advanced may have some benefits, but…

Hey everyone. Recently I've been trying to up my game on substance designer, like many of you. After working with someone else proved most helpful, I decided what better way to expand on that than create one of the many loved challenge threads. How it works * Each week I will be posting a new texture for us to make. * You…
It's been a very long time since I posted any work on here. I read about this ArenaNet Art test last week and didn't think I had enough time to do it and figured, what the hell? Why not throw my name in the hat as well? So here it is. All 2995 Polys of my submission. I unfortunately did not get A's in math class so my…
Yeah just saw your post. Maybe you know about this thread, if not it should be an eye opener just substitute max for blend: 3ds Max/Zbrush: Proboolean + Dynamesh hardsurface workflow tutorial
Hey everybody, I'm working on a rig where I want to add the ability to switch the parent of the IK hand manipulator between following the clavicle and being outside of the spine hierarchy completely. Now, that part is fairly easy, using set driven keys to animate the constraint from the clavicle to the IK handle but when…
