Ill try that, thanks. For most part do you think most high res models these days are made in zbrush, or is there an exeption, like are some things better to model out high res(like armor) in 3dsmax ect. And i know there is also a way to make normal maps in photshop, im really confused on this... Zbrush just seems better… -

Out of interest, while 3dsmax has W-information editable and available on models (UVW editor - you can move things forward/back through W-space as well as the regular UV), Maya only allows editing of UV coordinates, indeed it doesn't even seem to have a concept of W-depth for UVs. I guess you can't do this sort of stuff in… -

Hehe, KDR, that's exactly my experience too. The only time I got bluescreens and total system lockups was when there was something wrong with my hardware. I swear I don't know what people are doing to make WinXP, 2k, 3dsmax, Photoshop crash as much as they like saying it does. I mean, someone must be doing something wrong… -

New Zbrush properties how to merge object one in the other and ....
And get a good polyflow? Here is what I am trying to do .... build an Atlantean sword in several modular little pieces done in 3dsmax ... I want to export in low poly sufficently subdivided and then merge one into the other to create a continuous mesh without seams between objects and possibly get a good polyflow for it… -
