Yeah try this, and I think it will reduce the resolution to half of your original normal map, so if you really want to keep the same resolution make sure you import at twice the resolution ( usually half resolution, uncompressed works good enough, but you never know ) -

To my eye, these are tiny details, very fine edge wear-- and the pixels just can't record the information in the way you'd want, and the UV seams betray this low pixel resolution. I can't see the seam almost at all, at 4k. What's the use case for this model? Can you exaggerate the edge wear and make it bigger, so it holds… -
