Does anyone know why when I press GoZ there is nothing in Maya? This is the error message I get in Maya 2016: I ran both Zbrush ZR7 and Maya 2016 in Administrator This is the path I chose: Does anyone know how to fix this?
The new tools in maya 2016 and max 2016 are really advanced. Also zbrush's UV master does a decent job for some things too. If you're taking a long time unwrapping things - it's not the tools.

Hello friends, I have been getting mentored by some of you fine folks on #model_design for poly modeling. This is very much a hobby for me, I tend not to give it too much time. However, I'd like to create this thread as a incentive for me to make a small poly model once a week. Inspiration is very hard to come by,…
Its not Maya 2016, just the 2016 fbx exporter. You could select an older year. Also make sure the fbx exporter does not have Split per-vertex Normals checked as that will cause hard seams on your lowpoly.
116 Polies for each can ???!!! Should be no more than 20 Polies or so.. How did it take that many ?? Or were you talking about the WHOLE SCENE at 116 polies ?? If thats the case.. than that IS a super low poly model...
