What kind of zombie game, limitations and direction are you going? I'm interested in making a more 'modular' terrain or world type. Just like being able to enter buildings, should destroy and modify the terrain depending on what you do to it.
autodesk should add the modifier concept of 3dsmax to maya - I can imagine that you script works well but still I would feel abit uncomfortable having to run a script constantly in the background. The GUI could use some simplicity
-Model a tileable pattern -Clone/attach the pattern a few times, now you have a flattened out tire thread, apply a bend modifier until both ends connect together. http://www.danielbuck.net/old/index.php?page=tire_tut_2/tiretut2
If this is for high poly (which I'm assuming it is) can we see it with either Turbosmooth modifier added, or with the smoothing groups removed, to better see the makeup of the mesh and surface? A couple different views would work well too. Are you going to be texturing this?
I'd hire you ... looks good ?? How do you know they did not want High Res art ?? Did you ask ?? Maybe they are modifying the HL2 engine to use Normal Maps ..etc etc ?? Might wanna ask ehh ??
Pretty neat.....if you are starting this up I assume you are going to modify the skull so I wont say anything, aside from that YOu are on the right track!. *God I dont even make this many lines before skulpting. =\*
Wanted to sharpen my modelling and hard surface skills so decided to make 1 weapon scope every day for 7 days and then create low poly versions for game assets! Trying to make the high poly models using only splines, booleans and 3ds max re topology modifiers!

Hi guys. I've started adding 3D modifiers to my plug-in, so here are some basic procedural 3D Rocks. Any feedback would be appreciated. Hope You find it interesting. Youtube demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV2mi8Qhx5k
