I know guys the question itself might sound odd, I know it's business, which means trial and error, but It I would appreciate it if someone can guide me on how to market your products in UE4 marketplace, even if it's a simple guide without annoying people :)
So, Maya is just giving me this error message I have a nVidia 460 768mb. I've tried both the WHQL drivers and atm using th beta drivers. I'm using windows 7 x64. Any ideas? Or is it just or me to wait for a driver that support this?
Hey guys I have been recently working on MEL scripting in maya but burst into a problem with ls -sl command. string $selectionList[] = 'ls -sl'; this gives syntax error. I tried a lot and searched through the net but every example is like that. I guess the reason is a foolish one but what can it be?
tried to test the trial of max 2k9, then at the end of installation it gave me an error message, and told me to contact the system admin (hum) since vista sets me naturally as not the admin.. how do i become admin of my own fucking computer? max 8 installed fine though.
particle view shows up in files i export from 3ds max, and gets imported when i xref objects, but i can't delete it. i've tried selecting it through maxscript, but no luck. and delete doesn't work either. it just tells me "error loading particle view" then opens it anyways.
Hello everyone! I am new on this forum. I come to share you my stylized creations, and I am in the course of training of this graphic style. If you have advices which would allow me to learn still more, and of the remarks which will enable me to make less errors, it would be with pleasure!
Hey guys, sorry if this was already answered somewhere else but I'm getting this error when I smooth shade all. Also some of the models don't show up when I switch to the quad view. Maya 2013 64bit Intel i5-2300 2.8ghz 8gb GDDR3 Geforce 4gb 680GTX
Been a while since i made something, i always see blades etc so i wanted to give it a go. Using this ref for inspiration, rather then a straight copy. This is the High Poly so Far, can you tell me all the glaring errors i need to fix ?
Lighting is ignoring the top polys and not casting shadow properly. Anyone got a clue what might be causing that shadow to display so wierd ? Is it the mesh or shadow settings ? Tried few things and checked the mesh couple of times for errors but still can't find a solution for that. Verts are welded and poly's aren't…
Those UVs will not work for baking and texturing in Painter (or any texturing program). Most importantly, ensure no overlapping UVs per texture set (offset duplicate geometrys UVs to avoid errors with baking and non-uv projected textures/noises). Maybe follow a few tutorials first. Much success!
