I updated it recently so i suspect it is the latest. This is one of the normals which does not show, the render on the top left is the material. It has normal and heightmap as well and it still shows up really flat. I dont know if i can make the normals any stronger.
I'm pretty new to zBrush too, I've used it for one object in a project prior to my latest one. I've used it a ton to sculpt detail for my walls and such and it's been awesome. Still getting the hang of it too it takes a little while. Have fun! It's a bit addicting!
the latest max 2008 and 2009 releases have many new defaults settings changed, just to keep us on our toes. The snapping issues have also :poly122: me , especially when drawing with splines, so I'll see if its any better with this checkbox activated.
Sounds bizarre. I can't verify since I don't use CS4. Do you have the latest NVIDIA dds plugin installed? If it still happens, you could try searching and/or posting on the NVIDIA developer forum. http://developer.nvidia.com/forums/index.php?showforum=9
I haven't had a chance to play much yet, but I'm delighted that the latest instance of WoW addiction may be excised before it has a chance to really set in! My favorite thing about it so far is that it gives me an opportunity to shout at my television in a Russian accent.

Rock Paper Shotgun do a weekly "Kickstarter Katchup" article that covers the latest succesfully completed, failed and running Kickstarter campaigns. Gamebase bought Emergent & Gamebryo - studios are still using it, the latest version is branded as Gamebryo Lightspeed - Rocksmith shipped on that. I'm currently working on a game using Gamebryo - it's still pretty popular in the MMO industry. Hero engine was supposed to be a challenger but I've been hearing it's pretty…

Yeah saw that some time ago, too. But it just works with version: 3.17.1.40502, the latest build doesn't show the plugin at all. But i never ran into issues creating normal maps with xNormal for CryEngine ;) Guess it's just an optional thing, however it's good to have a link here :)
